I'm not sure if this poll has been created yet; but I think it's important for me to know for my own mental health and morale;-)

Smartass answer: The ragged edge of insanity. Hell of a view from here. :)

Is Ireland not a part of the U.K.? I'm sorry if I'm ignorant. And if it isn't...well wouldn't you be a part of Western Europe then? There are only 10 maximum choices you know.

Nope, apparently we are the Lost Continent of Atlantis;)

No, we aren't part of the UK, but I would think that since we are farther away from the European mainland than the UK I would think we'd have our own spot on the poll...

Born and raised Alaskan here... Before anyone starts on the questions:
1) I do not live in an igloo, we do have regular houses up here that have INDOOR plumbing, gas, electricity, phone service, cable/satelite tv, etc.
2) I don't own a polar bear, I don't feel like being lunch.
3) I don't have a sled dog team for transportation (altho I would like one), I normally drive a 1995 Chevy Lumina since my jeep was totaled in an accident with a local cable company truck (don't get me started on THAT).
4) It does not snow here year round, in fact, Anchorage (the city I live in) has currently had 50 consecutive days of being above 70 degrees.

Any other questions? Feel free to email me at akchic@hotmail.com subject "Alaska Questions"

If my "real estate" knowledge is correct Alaska has some very high house prices too! It's hard to believe that it'd actually be EXPENSIVE to live there but apparently it is.

Oh yea...but you being a chic is a good thing...you are a scarce comidity also haha;-)

Iceland is further still, but it counts as "Western Europe." The only reason the UK gets a seperate option is because there are so many, I believe there are about the same number of UK users as there are from the rest of europe.

Hi there, I am a Caniwi, which is a Canadian citizen, the true north strong and free, north and on top of the USA, and a New Zealand citizen, Kiwi,. While I live in Australia, and was born in Britain, I have to say that New Zealand is a country in its own right and can actually be given its own line on the voting. You are getting a misrepresentation of whatever you are trying to measure otherwise. So, g'day from down under in Oz. Margie

I'm from Michigan but claim Alaska as my "homeland-for-life". Unfortunately I have to live in Idaho most of the time. Presently I'm playing a totally different version of NationStates while temporarily stationed in Iraq. Armed intervention seems to be allowed in this other 3d version of the game. :sniper:

EVERYBODY does NOT live on planet earth!

the percentage of the sentient population of even the milkey way galaxy that lives on planet earth is so minute as to be neglegable.

(although the percentage of sentient population that lives in the same solar system as planet earth that live on it may be total or very near it!)

where EVERYBODY ACTUALY lives is in a small shoebox under the goddess'ss bed

we only think we are living in an infinite multiverse
although it IS still infinitely diverse in here!
