Looks like we're into the end-game as Cooper is now able to testify where he got the leak from.

In a statement Tuesday, Time said reporter Matthew Cooper agreed to give a deposition after Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Cheney's chief of staff, personally released Cooper from a promise of confidentiality about a conversation the two had last year.
Libby also release Tim Russet from a similar agreement.
So, the outing of an ACTIVE CIA agent came from (or at least via) Dick Cheney's Chief of Staff. After all - if Libby was the one to release the reporters, then Libby was the leak or pointed them to the leak.
Any takers on the following upcoming scenario?:
Libby exonerates his boss, takes the fall as having done it all by his little lonesome, and gets a slap-on-the-wrist sentance of 6 months (suspended) ,followed by a nice job with Haliburton (or similar) at a nice salary plus stock options.
And the door then gets neatly closed on a blatantly illegal action that ruined a career and may have compromised ongoing intelligence assets and costs lives - all for a political smear against a lady's husband...
