To put it simply, I'm a firm believer in destiny. Is anyone else? And if so, whats your concept of it relating to that old problem of CHOICE!

When you can't control it...it's destiny. When you make a choice, you have chosen your destiny. So, even with choice there can still be destiny.

How do you know if you really have free will? It could appear as though you are making your own decisions, but perhaps some force is acting upon you and your environment to push you in some direction. Can't really prove it one way or another. IMHO it's best to assume you have free will and make your best choices.

Well, if I believed in destiny, I'd just sit here all day, and eat all I want, since eventually destiny's gotta kick and make stuff happen for me.

Or, maybe we do have free will, and destiny is optional. Maybe some people fulfill their destiny because of their choices in life, and others don't because they choose to follow something other than their chosen destiny.
