Who do you think will win it? Haven't heard much talk about it, and I think it will be far less popular than '96 but I'm gonna be watching it anyways. My Predictions are:
1st: Canada over 2nd: Sweden
3rd: USA over 4th: Finland
5th: Czech Republic
6th: Russia
7th: Slovakia
8th: Germany
I would have picked Canada over Russia but many NHLers have declined to play for Russia, so they will be a non factor and Sweden has Mats Sundin among others. The USA remains solid and should over take a smaller Fin team. After that, it really slips down from the Czechs who have begun to decline after their late '90s success and then the Slovaks have never been very consistant. Germany has the grit but simply not enough talent.
