I'm a very big fan of Marx brothers movies, and I'd like to see just how many others in the forum are as well.
If you ever tried making a puppet nation named Freedonia, and found it had already been taken, then this is the place for you.

I love the Marx brothers.
I'm currently saving up for the new collection released (if it isn't too expensive, I still haven't checked the price).
"Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend.
And inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." -- Groucho Marx.
Harpo was a comic genius. But sometimes Chico had the best lines.
Rufus T. Firefly : Awfully decent of you to drop in today. Do you realize our army is facing disastrous defeat? What do you intend to do about it?
Chicolini : I've done it already.
Rufus T. Firefly : You've done what?
Chicolini : I've changed to the other side.
Rufus T. Firefly : So you're on the other side, eh? Well, what are you doing over here?
Chicolini : Well, the food is better over here.

*sigh*
Fricken Groucho.... no matter where I go he gets top billing...
my sister's boyfriend hasn't seen them. i plan on holding him down, taping his eyelids open, and forcing him to watch them. which could be difficult since he weighs a good 50 pounds more than me.

This morning I woke up and shot an elephant in my pajamas.
How he got into my pajamas, I'll never know.

Ah, the Marx Brothers. Comedic geniuses. My oft qouted... "I'd never join any club that would have the likes of ME as a member." is a Groucho quote. :)

I love the Marx brothers! My favorite part in every movie is when Harpo plays the harp and Chico plays the piano.

i like the one where Harpo tries the piano, and ends up smashing it to create a harp.

The movies of the Marx brothers are timeless. I think that Duck Soup was their best film although I love A night at the opera and their last big film together - A night in Casablanca.

We do. Not as much as they deserve though.

I think that "Night at the Opera" was one of their best:
"This table is set for four!"
"That's nothing, my alarm clock is set for eight."

I love the Marx Brothers, and have seen just about all of their films, but I'm also a fan of Buster Keaton and the Three Stooges, not to forget Charlie Chaplin. (I wouldn't have traded lives with any of them, though. Not for all the tea in China)...
There's a lot of sophisticated humor in those old films that people miss these days, because they think it's all slapstick. They can even watch it, and miss the better jokes, because they've already made up their minds that it's all a bunch of physical humor.
My favorite Groucho quote was from a game show he hosted called You Bet Your Life
Groucho: So, you got any kids?
Female Contestant: Yes, Groucho, I have eleven children.
Groucho: Eleven?! Did you say eleven kids?
Female Contestant: Well, I love my husband.
Groucho: Lady, I love my cigar but I take it out of my mouth once in a while.
