If you were stranded on an uncharted tropical isle for the rest of your days, which would be the top two bands' music to have with you for entertainment?

My picks are Steely Dan, and Pink Floyd. Your choices?

For me it would have to be The Levellers and Bob Marley.

Now would those bands be trapped with me forever or would I just have their albums and a lifetime supply of batteries?

Batteries would mysteriously show up, then you'd develop your own bicycle battery charger ala Gilligans Island.

Is a wind up gramophone complete with an ornate amplifying horn not more traditional? If it was good enough to rule the British Empire with, it should be good enough for us.

Oh yeah, way to ruin my fantasy. I guess I better pick some bands that are actually good then and not just full of hotties. I choose Oingo Boingo and umm…Shitty…I can’t think of anything else at the moment. Most of my other favorite music comes from original soundtracks. I’ll get back to you later.

It'd have to be the Beatles and Crowded House.

I would take a copy of Pink Floyds - Dar Side of the Moon, and a copy of Britney Spears - Hit Me Baby One More Time.
The idea is you play the Britney Spears album and it makes the Pink floyd one sound even better than before.
