Ehh, my favourites vary from time to time, but if I have to pick 3 albums that are usually on the list...

In Utero - Nirvana
Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine
Give me Convenience or Give me Death - Dead Kennedys
Cyberous

Placebo - Without You I'm Nothing
Rammstein - Mutter

Although in the age of the MP3, I do miss album artwork, and getting fingerprints that won't wipe off over pitch black album covers. It's a damn shame.

I don't own many of the albums people talk about in these type of threads, because I buy very specific albums/singles as a completist.

But I do recall seeing it online at some point. Story of my life *laughs*

The Wall? I don't think it is a very good example of Pink Floyd as it lacks any real soul. Try Wish You Were Here, Dark Side of the Moon, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, Piper at the Gates of Dawn, or Animals.

My favorite top 10 albums are:

The Who-Who's Next

Pink Floyd-Wish You Were Here

Pink Floyd-Atom Heart Mother

Pink Floyd-Dark Side of the Moon

Steely Dan-Aja

Led Zeppelin-Physical Grafitti

Led Zeppelin III

Allman Brothers-Eat a Peach

T Rex-Electric Warrior

Lynyrd Skynryd-Street Survivor

The wall is a story, and a well told one at that. But in order to get it all, you have to listen to the entire thing in one sitting, then you begin to see the genius of it. I've have Animals and I have heard Dark Side several times but have yet to by it.

Trouble in Shangri-la, Stevie Nicks (my favourite singer/songwriter)
Tapestry, Carole King
Reckless, Bryan Adams

Those are a few that I like. I'd have to say Rumours is probably the album I'd most want to be stuck on a desert island with.
