Would This Be a Good Thing, or a Bad Thing...

Suppose (theoretically) that our troops in Iraq really did stumble across a bunch of WMDs in the near future, and thus vindicated Bush. Would that be a good thing, bad thing, or both?

Well there'd be a whole lot of people being laughed at and ridiculed and Bush's reelection would be assured.

I'm not sure that people would buy it. You'd have the Michael Moores of the world saying it was false the instant it hit the news.

A.) michal moore would likely be very cautious in accepting it as true, he wouldn't declare it false by hearing it, he'd personally speculate it as improbable, but i think he might be partly happy if it was found, then we wouldn't have wasted and shatter all those lives, american and otherwise for that cod-pieces idea of war.

B.) bush wasn't elected, he was appointed, lost the popular, and electoral if you recount floridas public records, even with all the shifty shat the bush family was doing to keep it from happening.

Yes. After so long without finding anything it would seem just a bit suspicious.

No, not really. The better questions are:
Will the economy get better then it is doing now (not well enough to get him re-elected)?

Will the attacks in Iraq slow down?

They'd be found two days before the election and be startlingly simelar to our own, right down to the "Made in USA" printed on the side.

Yep. Because Saddam is, as we all know, an American-made monster.

Good because it would remove potential WMDs.
BAd because it would help Bush. The American public tends to focus on the one event on hand, so they end up overlooking all of the bad and focusing on the one maybe good thing.

No, I meant that Bush would put American WMD's in Iraq and try to pass them off as Saddam's knowing full well that the average voters' IQ and shoe size are nearly the same.
