There was no denying that Aryan Tribes and Mongoose Spatula were extremely knowledgeable about history and historical events, even if one disagreed about their interpretations of these historical events... they also didn't deny the Holocaust. These people made fools out of a lot of anti-Nazis who didn't know as much history as they did. Aryan Tribes was one of the most original thinkers (definitely the most eccentric) on the forums and to his credit he renounced racism before he left Nationstates last year.

What about Letila?
Spiritual Anarchy deserves his own category because of his enormous knowledge in a lot of random things such as linguistics, Eastern religions, post-1949 Chinese politics, among many other things. I think Spiritual Anarchy defended anarchism better than Letila who relies on too many one liners and not only that SA also had more diverse conversation and wasn't just about anarchism anarchism anarchism like Letila is.

I'd have to nominate either Zeppistan, Kybernetia, and Niccolo Medici. Zeppistan because he is very articulate. Kybernetia because he seems to have an understanding of the complex interplay of global security, global economics, and the trans-Atlantic relationship. Last but not least, Niccolo Medici has the uncanny ability to keep even the most academic issues rooted in reality.
The Sword and Shield, btw, deserves honorable mention, as he is the most knowledgeble poster on here. If nothing else, he is a living encyclopedia.

I'll second Antebellum South's posthumous nomination of Spiritual Anarchy: softly spoken and sorely missed.

My current nomination in the respectable racist stakes: Aryan Supremacy (but I reserve the right to remove that nomination should he slip).

My opinion of Mongoose Spatula does not match Antebellum South's by any stretch of the imagination - all I read by MS were weakly thought out defenses of his BNP press release cut and pastes,

I would second Niccolo Medici. Sound reasoning, excellent ability to lay out arguments and a firm knowledge of facts make for one impressive combo. I'd also mention Thunderland for many of the same reasons.

Of course, all time favorites are Zepp, Steph, Incertonia (although you've gotten very angry lately), Euclid, Cannuk (althogh I can't remember if there are two Ns in his name or not), Bottle and BWO.
