Is it the job of the FCC and the U.S. Government to protect us, the american viewing public and our children from the threat of naked mud wrestling, or is that the job of our wits and remote controls?

People can determine what they should and shouldn't watch. Why should the Feds be allowed to regulate TV?

Are these women wrestleing(sp?)?

Let's say... both men and women. Coed and same-sex matches. Full frontal male and female nudity. Everything the FCC fears. *nod*

Meh - parents should have enough sense to just block the stuff! While my opinion doesnt really sway either way concerning put it on TV/block it, I really don't like the lame-minded having to appeal to our government for idiotic things like this.

This social libertarian's rant is done now

parents need to do their job and protect their own children. cencorship is the only thing that is inherently evil.

Personally, I think that our remotes speak plenty loudly to the television producers. I also think that the only person responsible for monitoring my child's television is me. Now the government wanted to make v-chips mandatory? Fine. THey give parents a tool to make it easier to safeguard their children, groovy. But it's not the government's job and it's certainly not some busybody whose kids are probably busy knocking over Seven-elevens job to 'safeguard' my child.

And I don't appreciate their meddling.

it's the parents' job to block it, not the government's. by censoring it, you're hurting us perverts. ;)
