Good job.

I'm not going to assume anything, but the Lorax?
What?
Is there a kind of Lorax that i haven't heard of, or do you have to write a paper about the Lorax that's in my head?
If i'm right, try giving it all of these philisophical and psychological undertones that you know aren't there.

This is like the Grinch all over again. How did I miss so many Dr Suess books? I thought Green eggs and ham rocked so my parents clearly didn't love me enough. Unless this is one of the ones I don't remember the name of...

Overanalyse the book, then write a bunch of crap on how it was influenced by Seuss' other works and how it influence his future work.

Make sure to add references to the book from a Freudian perspective. People, especially professors, dig those.
What's not to love about the father of psychoanalysis who was inspired to write on the interpretation of dreams do to the results of his own cocaine addiction? Ahh the fun intelligent people had way back when.

And make references to current events, maybe even how they could be explained through the book's events and undertones. If you think the teacher will fall for it, analyse your own life through the book's lenses.
Find numerous symbolisms for sexual things. I don't know the book, but absolutely anything can symbolise childbirth, intercourse or sexual organs.
Finish with explaining how the book is really a statement for peace, universal love, for or against racism, colonialism or socialism (we all know every writer is a leftie).

What about Ayn Rand?

The book of the Lorax? Or the 'film'? Or both media?
Because the cartoon is a crass overcomercialised version of the written word...
and, what is the thesis 'on'? Are you studying politics, marketing, psychology???

i don't see what's so hard about it. it's just 4 pages about a politically and evironmentally charged book. easy pickings.

No, I have to say, four pages on a text like 'the lorax' seems like something of a cakewalk...
