but then I'm used to reading stuff so bloody encoded in pretentious language that I might have an advantage when it comes to this.

Item 1: I do not need to decode phrases into common phrases to know that I'm smart. I might do it if it were fun, but for me, it isn't. Therefore for me it would be a waste of time and a stupid thing to do. Please, I have cryptograms and crosswords to finish.

Item 2: I only opened this thread because I was curious as to how you were expecting to define intelligence. But instead, all you did was appeal to the competitive impulse in people. A competitive person is not necessarily an intelligent one.
