What's your theme song?

Klonor
19-08-2004, 16:05
I saw a thread on this topic a long time ago and thought it'd be good to re-start it. It always gives a bit of insight into the various NS personalities when you can see what they thing fits them.

Me, I think my theme song would be "Modern Major General" by Gilbert & Sullivan. Essentially, it's a guy singing about how great he is. I can't be the only one who thinks that just screams "Klonor!"

So, what do you think would be your theme song?

Survivor - Eye of the Tiger

Its the ultimate theme song, well just the beginning of it, the rest of it [especially the vocals] suck. Other than that, I would say Life in a Glass House by Radiohead.

Well I had one comissioned, but I wasn't pleased with the results.

This is the theme of Nifty Tzorsland.
The National theme of Nifty Tzorsland.
The leader called me up last night, and made me write this theme song.
But I am very lazy,
I tend to plagurize.
I stole the Theme from Gary Shandling's Show (http://www-2.cs.cmu.edu/afs/cs.cmu.edu/user/clamen/misc/tv/lyrics/ItsGarryShandlingsShow.txt).

The jam is live in effect and I don't waste time
Off the mic with a dope rhyme jump to the rhythm
Jump jump to the rhythm jump
And I'm here to combine beats and lyrics
To make you shake your pants take a chance
Come on and dance guys grab a girl don't wait make the twirl
It's your world and I'm just a squirrel
Trying to get a nut to move your butt to the dance floor
So you what's up hands in the air come on say yeah
Everybody over here everybody over there
The crowd is live enough as I pursure this groove
Party people in the house move

Left to right (groove) work me all night
Come on let's sweat (sweat sweat) baby
Let the music take control (control control)
Let the rhythm move you
Sweat (sweat sweat) sweat
Let the music take your soul (soul soul)
Let the rhythm move you
Everybody dance now

Da da da da da da da da da da da da
Da da da da da da da da
Da da da da da da da da da da da da (x2)
(Ooh)

(repeat)

(Move) everybody dance now
Everybody dance now

Pause take a breath and go for yours on my command
Now hit the dance floor it's gonna make you sweat till you bleed
Is that dope enough indeed I paid the price to control the dice
I'm more precise to the point I'm nice
Let the music take control of your heart and soul
Unfold your body is free and behold
Dance till you can't dance till you can't dance no more
Get on the floor and get ablow
Then come back and upside down easy now
Let me see you move left to right groove
Work me all night

The music is my life
Everybody dance now (x3)
Everybody

Come on let's sweat (sweat sweat) baby
Let the music take control (control control)
Let the rhythm move you
Sweat (sweat sweat) sweat
Let the music take your soul (soul soul)
Let the rhythm move you

Da da da da da da da da da da (x2)

"Thirty-Three" by Smashing Pumpkins

Speak to me in a language I can hear
Humour me before I have to go
Deep in thought I forgive everyone
As the cluttered streets greet me once again
I know I can't be late, supper's waiting on the table
Tomorrow's just an excuse away
So I pull my collar up and face the cold, on my own
The earth laughs beneath my heavy feet
At the blasphemy in my old jangly walk
Steeple guide me to my heart and home
The sun is out and up and down again
I know I'll make it, love can last forever
Graceful swans of never topple to the earth
And you can make it last, forever you
You can make it last, forever you
And for a moment I lose myself
Wrapped up in the pleasures of the world
I've journeyed here and there and back again
But in the same old haunts I still find my friends
Mysteries not ready to reveal
Sympathies I'm ready to return
I'll make the effort, love can last forever
Graceful swans of never topple to the earth
Tomorrow's just an excuse
And you can make it last, forever you
You can make it last, forever you

Diddle diddle duuuh

Diddle diddle duuhh

Du-du-dum duh duh

There's many songs that put me into a uplifting moods, but I don't know if I have a personal "theme," per se.
