Theres the navigation on your left. With issues and stuff. You can join the UN or look around for a region you might want to join. In case you want to go to war and need allies. Then there are the RP and UN forums.

Well, one thing you can do is create a new region. Make a description for it, create a password, selectivly recruit people. There are hundreds of thousands of nations, so I'm sure you can find some people. Just not me....

Change your issues to twice a day, at least to start.

I wrote up a background for my country and made a map of the region using Civilization 3's map editor. The region never really took off so I just created a couple of new countries to populate at least part of the map and allow me to develop my original country further.

You can start playing the game. Handle issues and RP your government. Chat in this forum and don't flame the mods.

You now have the choice between starting a war with a much larger and older country in the roleplay forums and ending up getting nuked, then having your territories occupied, your women lamenting, your children starving and your men enslaved, or you can hang about here and argue with anti-semites, third positionists, anarcho-capitalists, religious zealots or fervent nationalists.

You'd get much better results if you posted in Gameplay. General tends to be fulll of people who... don't take questions very seriously.

- start an inflammatory thread.
- declare war on everyone
- make your country racist against everyone
- insult everyone who doesn't agree with you
- crank up the nuke production
- have a catchy war-like motto
- make a region
- make an array of puppets to do your bidding
