Seems to actually be called "Maksim Perepelitsa" - does the song have a Russian name? - I might recognise it from that and my stack of Red/Soviet Army Choir/Ensemble LPs.
Currently moved onto: MC Hawking - UTF for the MC
Coming up next: MC Hawking - More Science

I think the Russian name is "V put - pyesnya soldatskaya" - or something similar. It's definitely on a Red Army Choir CD.
I didnt know there were Soviet Album Collectors here! :p

Can't seem to track down that exact song right now, you have, however, driven me to put on 'Cossack Patrol'.

Yes, I am. Very good voice, even if he does tend to wobble somewhat at the upper edge of his range.
