Rocks your socks off.
-- It doesn't matter if it is good. It only matters if it Rocks!! The main thing that we do is to rocks your socks off. There's no such thing as a rock prodigy because rock and roll is bogus. Right KG? Right! Only thing that really matters is a classical sauce, and that's why me and KG are classically trained to rock your freakin' socks off. GIVE EM A TASTE KG!!
--Alright
--That is Bach and it rocks, it's a rock pach of Bach that he learned in the school called the school of Hard Knox. GIVE IT UP FOR KG! GIVE IT UP FOR ME! GIVE IT UP FOR KG! GIVE IT UP FOR ME!

TD are fantastic. Unfortunately they write comedy songs which makes the album loose appeal after a few listens. They obviously have the talent to make a success of a serious album.

The rocking guitars are good.
The whole comedy thing... *makes disgruntled noises*
But then, I hate Jim Carrey, so perhaps I need a sense of humour transplant? :)

I find i can listen to the songs, but after a while its the little sketches or whatever eg.Inward singing that get annoying

Nah. Jim Carrey can act - Truman Show - but genrally his rubber-faced-ness is just annoying.
I'm a fan of the inward singing.

I love Tenacious D. I went to see them at the Apollo with my Dad once. Best gig ever.
Afterwards parents were complaining it was too rude for there kids… Apparently they bought them the album and then took them to see them without listening to them first. Actually with a track like 'fuck her gently' I'm surprised they needed to.
Edit: My Dad didn't complain, he likes them as much as I do. I was 16 at the time and he isn't that naïve.
I have only heard tribute but it was a great song, I really really liked it. :)
