What team are you cheering for at the Olympics? I'm cheering for the United States (naturally, because I am American), but if we don't do well I cheer for Mexico and Canada too. Go North America!
Yesterday when I was watching men's gymnastics I would cheer and be happy every time someone from Romania, Japan, or China stepped out of bounds or missed the bar. I'm horrible. :)

I tend not to cheer at the television. The athletes can't hear it and the TV just gets annoyed.

You aren't like me then. Things as simple as Fear Factor will have me jumping up and down and screaming for the people to hurry up or keep going. I know I will be screaming tonight. A teenager from my home town is in a swimming race. It is fairly rare for someone from Nebraska to be in the Olympics. You should see it here, there a billboards with his picture up all over, neighbors decorated his house, there was a news report on it.

I'm cheering for everyone - not literally, of course - but I just think it's great when athletes - or anyone, for that matter - get together and bring out the best in one another; it's amazing to watch the miracles happen.

Yeah, that's because your country is usually good at the Winter Olympics, U.S.A. generally sucks.

No one, the only time I have actually taken an interest in an athletic contest was the last Commonwealth Games, for the simple reason that was employed at the Athlete's Village.

I watch them! Of course I'd rather watch the winter olympices 'cause we do better than one bronze in sync diving. It's 'cause of those damn entry rules.

I was thinking just that today. Winter games are so much better... :D and not just because of the hockey.
