i run spy bot in tandem with adaware6

big point tho --- they are all usless if you don't do regular updates on them!!

as well if you are on xp make sure you are not dealing with a worm and not spyware at all

I run Bazooka, and now my girlfriend does as well, since she started having trouble earlier today.

Try switching browsers after running the AV and the spyware removal program because a lot of bugs come in through *gasp* IE.

If you run Windows XP, you can download Service Pack 2 (SP2) to help with that. It would be pretty foolish to change browsers over spyware though, 90% (or more) of the web is optimized for IE, nevermind IE exclusive.

1. Update Spybot 1.3

2. Run it.

3. Update whatever anti-virus your using.

4. Delete all cookies and temporary Internet files.
(this is where many of them are stored temporarily)

You may even want to run Disk Cleanup, or WindowWasher, if you have it.

If your not very computer savvy, ignore anyone who tells you to use a different browser.

If you still have problems there a couple of things you can try....post back if you need further help.
