First of all I would like to mention that in this thread I hope that no one will put any spoilers in here. Let others find out on their own.

My complaints about the movie is that it seriously got downgraded because of the PG-13. An R rating is what this movie needs for the fight scenes to be truly effective. I kept reading about this huge fight in the movie between an alien and a predator and how it was going to be the best thing ever but it ended up being only about 20 seconds and it was edited so bad that you couldn't tell what was happening.

The heroine of the film was trying way to hard to channel Sigourney Weaver and her character Ripley and it wasn't working for me.

Those are my biggest beefs and I would complain more if I wanted to spoil it for others but I will respect the rights of others to be held in suspense about who wins.

the predators look kind of stupid and bulky looking. I dont remember them being that big in predator... which by the way i feel like watching now. They look funny when they run kinda like watching a monochiwan from fifth element run. But then they seem really agile in some parts. I dont know though I havent seen the movie. From the commercials it looks like they all die by blowing up the pyramid. Like that scene in the preview where theres like this king of the hill thing and tons of aliens are climbing up to kill whatevers on top then thers like a nuclear blast or something. What im wonderinging is how come theres so many aliens climbing up the pyramid but in all the previews and clips ive seen there didnt seem to be to many aliens. But then again there may be tons i havent seen the movie.

At the risk of graverobbing:

In the name of whatever you consider holy, don't go and see this movie. You will be left wanting those hours of your life back, just so that you could spend them in a more profitable and enjoyable manner, such as lacerating yourself with rusty barbed wire or eating something your cat just threw up.

It sucked. End of story. I was very disappointed.

Freakin Sweet, I hope I'm not spoiling but that is called storytelling, you tell events that have already taken place in past. While there are many aliens in movie that are in the present, those ones are the past.

Predators always looked like that, they were just never seen till near end usually in other movies.

Where is this talk of channeling Sigourney ? She is not her, she is herr own person...sheesh, people with no imagination.
Sigourney weas a miliotary women unlike the girl in this movie, she is a guide/good mnoutain climber i think.
