You wanted it now here it is!

In Co Op it's fun to keep killing yourself on the warthog when you have frag gernades. Then after about 20 kills. Your partner thorws a plasma gernade on the bottom which in turn sets off the frag gernades sending the warthog into a high orbit :)

I remember when I drove that flying thing in the snow level... it kept going up up up up up up up and then I crashed in flames. It was fun.

Another is when I put a plasma grenade on the flying thing, and I didn't know it... until it was too late.

I've done that.
I don't really like the Banshee though.
It can't compete with the Warthogs Coolness.

In Assault on the Control Room, when you come out onto that huge land bridge thing, you can get control of the Banshees. So, what I like to do is, playing co-op, get control of the Banshees and kill all the enemies so it's just me and my partner in the Banshees, and then we dogfight. But that's not the most fun part. Once one of us dies, the real fun begins. If you kill the other person, it's hysterical to fly around and respawn your partner in terrible locations, like on top of that huge ass spire thing that goes up to the top of the map. Or, there's a ledge about 1000 feet above the regular ground that you can respawn them onto. My favorite is flying up to the top of the map so that you're colliding with the "ceiling" of the map. Then, since you stop moving around, the game respawns your partner right below the Banshee and they fall to their DOOOOOOOM!!!!!!

Heh, it's so much fun. Also, in Two Betrayals, you can go out and get a Banshee there too. You can kill your partner and then fly it all the way back to the beginning into that giant room where the Sentinals start attacking you. Down below the giant computer thingy is a huge pit that goes straight down to nothing. I like flying all the way down there and respawning my partner, especially if he doesn't have any grenades, because then he can't even kill himself and he's stuck down there.

Ehh, I thought the game was mostly crap, except for one time.

On one of the levels, I was playing co-op with a friend, and it was a level with those alien aircraft things...anyway, we got in one each and started flying around the level dogfighting. Haha.

HALO is one of the most innovative and best FPS ever.......... How can you call it crap.
Well I know it's not THE best. But it's up there.

Innovative? How?

In Half Life, the enemies threw grenades and ran for cover. Before Halo.
Many other 3D games before Halo allowed vehicle transport.

Many other FPS games included a far greater variety of enemies and a far greater variety of weaponry.

It just wasn't that good...

And the story, pfeh. Ringworld.

Play on legandary and see what happens. They throw gernades and dodge them to.
Ok maybe innovative wasn't the word.
It's not the newest oldest or best looking. It's simply the most fun.

Thats what every insane Halo worshipper tells me

I DID play on legendary after I found heroic to be crap.

I just don't find it as fun as other FPS games with more involving plotlines and interactivity...

I know it's not the best. But it's fun.
My Fav FPS to play would have to Be EliteForce 2 THAT is the best.

I didn't mind the first Elite Force but haven't played no.2. My favourite 'stock' FPS is probably the original Aliens vs Predator, followed by Half Life. Otherwise, System Shock 2 gets the honour even though its more of an RPG.

I have to file complaint with the game mechanics. I tried to pull a James Bond and knocked a Banshee over ledge, then tried to jump down, climb in it and take off. I always "died" in mid-air before I could pull off the stunt.

Well after you fall a cretain distance it's impossible to live.
Just buy the PC version and mod it so you dont die while you fall :)

I dont think it was necessarily innovative, I think it just did everything better than any other game.

Halo is #1 on my list of games.

When i was playing aotcr in the part where evryone is sleeping, i walked up and killed the elite so no one was alerted. i then killed everyone but 1 grunt in the middle of the room and when i left, my brother fired a single shot to wake him up. how would you feel if you just woke up and every1 around you is dead?

Mostly crap? This is one of my fav games of all time. After Perfect Dark (on the N64) I guess. Perhaps it isn't all that innovative, or maybe not THE best FPS out there, but it's damned close to it. Loads of replayability, and great multiplayer on online on pc. The story's pretty cool and the levels are well designed. I don't think it's really fair to say that Halo is 'crap'.

My favorite moment in multiplayer halo (on Xbox) was playing system link 4 vs. 4 CTF, the guy with my team’s flag is running for a ghost near me, I toss a plasma grenade on it and it goes off the second he hopped in, (this next part I have no idea why or how it happened and have never been able to replicate it) the grenade exploded, it killed him and made the ghost flip upside down, but not like normal, it happened insanely fast, as in a few milliseconds, it didn't lift off the ground just snapped forward onto its top, the funniest thing was it catapulted the guys corpse and the flag across the entire map (blood gulch)
