Don't say, "George W. Bush!" or "Bill Clinton!" I mean only candidates that lost.

Cripes, you left off:

Herbert Hoover
Warren G. Harding
Millard Fillmore
Wendell Wilkie
Thomas Cox
William Crawford
Barry Goldwater

And I so love that you included Eugene Victor Debs...you mean the man who received 1 million votes in the election of 1920 while in prison because he protested U.S. involvement in the First World War.

Roach-Busters, please give us more choices. Just because someone won an election, doesn't mean they should be left out of your poll

He really should have added John Kerry. Worst. Candidate. Ever.

George Bush II.

In direct and knowing defiance of the instructions. I still have no clue how he won with his platform- did it change after he was elected or something?

Well, uh, September 11th did cause quite a change in priorities for the Bush Administration.

Yes, but it shouldn't have affected non-defense issues, should it have? He ran on "Compassionate Conservativism" and then slowly switched gears, pretty much, from what I can see, to standard Neo-Conservativism as soon as he was elected.

He ran for president from jail. He keeps trying to get the Democratic Nomination, but he runs without it every election. Picture a democratic Rush Limbaugh with even fewer marbles. ;)

Web DuBois.

The founder of the racist NAACP? When did he run?

Oh yes, it most definitely did. I don't have the link to the Daily Show spoof, but it shows 2000 and 2004 Bushes "debating" each other using clips from their speeches. Go Google it - I'm sure it's just as popular as the JibJab "This Land" animation by now.

Three times, actually. (1896, 1900, and 1908)

I'm crazy. Not WEB DuBois. I was thinking of Eugene Debs.

Not 1904? When was he crucified on a cross of gold? I was counting the Scopes trial or something.

I don't know who the Democratic candidate was in 1904, but Bryan either wasn't nominated or didn't run (probably the latter).
