I don't quite understand why every thread like this has to turn into a US vs everyone else sports thread. American football has absolutely no relevance to the premiership, bringing rugby into it just makes it worse (This argument about Rugby Vs American football has been done to death already, it will never be solved so just give it a rest). Just accept that Americans generally like American football, Europeans and various other places generally like football, it all depends on what you grow up watching and participating in so JUST ACCEPT IT because you aren't going to make other people change their minds.

mmm interesting, then why is Soccer the second most popular sport in the united states for people 18 and under with over 19 million registered players, which is more than twice the amount of people than the third most popular youth sport, american football... these are stastics not hear say, which is the kind of crap you babble out

Eh... soccer can be fun... if you're not the goalie.

I remember when I was goalie, I almost had my head snapped off, the ball was headed towards me, I ducked, it left a hole in the wall. And that when I quit soccer forever... actually I quit a few days later, but that's besides the point.

Everyone knows gaelic football is the best or hurling. They are way better hurling being the fastest game in the world. Just because the players dont get paid it hasnt caught on and soccer is better then american football.

Just so everybody knows, I started this poll and I was born and raised in the USA. I love football and american football. If you ask me, any sport is good as long as it the players have heart, commitment, and skill. As for me, I am in high school and run cross country and track. Running and football... the two greatest sports.

I picked the Blues for your poll, but realistically the Gunners will probably win the Premiership again. You have to give them credit for 49 unbeaten league games. If Chelski beats them in Highbury in December they might make me a believer, but until then I think the Blues will have to wait until next year.

However, I predict Chelsea will win the European League before Arsenal does.

...and Chelsea will take the Carling Cup this year.

Bowling is still #1, among the population as a whole. Bowling is King.

I root for Chelsea, and before that game at Old Trafford I thought there was no way Arsenal would lose the title. Now they do look vulnerable, although one could make the argument that referee Mike Riley gave Manchester United the game with those dubious calls.

well they would be my first choice, most of my family are evertonians, but can anybody really see arsenal losing it? i mean, they have reasonable strength in depth, play brilliant football and seemingly score at will...but they still won't win the champions league...shame that :D

to be honest though, anyone outside chelsea man utd and arsenal would do...just to make it a bit more interesting... :D
