didnt the us team show up nekkid for the first olympics??
of COURSE they should be naked. its the olympics for gods sake
AND
our military uniforms should be redesigned to have our soldiers wearing "skirts" into battle. and they should be required to get their hair done before battle.

Being naked would help improve aerodynamics.

No, I'd rather not watch a bunch of naked 9-13 year olds, thanks.

What about the shot-putters and weight-lifters?
It'd certainly put me off my dinner.
If they'd been naked, Linford Christie would have always tripped over at the start.

PLEASE GOD NOT THE FEMALE SHOT-PUTTERS

I'll take a pass on the offer, thanks.
Oh shoot, why not? Would make pairs ice-skating more interesting if nothing else.
As for the guy that mentioned skirts and hair for the US soldiers, he watches too much Eddie Izzard. "The 1st Brigaide Transvestite Airborne"

Those swimmers (male and female) sure would look better if they were naked. And I think more people would watch the Olympics if it had some eye candy :)

What do you think?
If there were any good-looking athletes, I'd say yes. :p
Yes. Because everybody wants to see naked people!

My problem is that a great deal of countries' national religions wouldn't allow them to compete naked. Just recently, some islamic countries allowed women to swim since the new suits cover all of their bodies.
Also, you do realize that a lot of the gymnasts and divers are under 18, right?
And as far as historical accuracy is concerned, women only had one athletic competition to compete in (I forgot the city), and the greeks probably didn't see much snow...

Stark Raving Naked. :D
Other countries don't want to compete? They don't want to join in the global harmony and spirit of peaceful competition the Olympics represents? Well, what else is new? Boycotting olympics is as old as the olympics itself. Even the U.S. has done it, for which I'm somewhat ashamed of.
