I just got back from the movies. The film was very good, I'm definatly seeing it again.

While far from the best movie ever, it was on par enjoyment wise with Freddy VS Jason.

A must see for any action flick junkie.

Then they needed to find a better title. It makes me think of something like Godzilla vs. King Kong.

It was like sex with a 5 dollar hooker, providing mild thrills but ultimately dissapointing.

Does anyone know when it's coming out in Britain? I'm a bit of a fan of all things AVP, so.... it's annoying with it's I'm not out yet attitude. I'm glad that it's at least getting mixed reviews, which is better than what I expected.

It's not a movie you go to if you want to think or have impressions left on you. It's a movie where you can unplug and just enjoy classic ass kicking.

If you liked Aliens or the original Predator, you'll like this one. It's better than (the first half, at least) of Predator 2.

My only dislike is that it takes so long to get to the actual fighting. But when it does arive, it's pretty good stuff.

It was better than alien resurrection (perhaps) but it can't touch even alien 3, and that one wasn't so good. To me it was better than resurrection simply because it had the predators in it. The story was so bogus, though, that if you even attempt to take any part of it seriously your head will explode from the stupidity.

The frickin film is rated pg-13.

How good could it possibly be and still get that rating.

It will be a movie with eye candy, and little else.

Any film with an Alien and a Predator in it..should have shot for a "R" rating, or dont waste the peoples time.

Well .... maybe .... but I will take bets while waiting in line for tickets ... at odds, 3 to 1 for the Predators.

The Aliens seem to be colony minded underdogs and their pure bloodlines have been spoiled by the orgy with Ripley, however the Predator - while probably not the superior fighter - has the mini-nuke wrist band.

Granted, that mini-nuke barely dried the mud on Arnold's body while at the same time deforesting 500 acres of Central America ... but we can overlook that.

Then again, it may go the route of Freddy Vs. Jason and they both win/lose simultaneously .... meh.

AvP has been a video game on the arcade for years and years and years. Ever play the first AvP for computer, though? Damn good. The movie does stay rather true to it (besides the story line, that is). I have to admit, the story is very clever and creative.
