Who is your favourite bad guy?

Just because I’m bored I thought I would start a spam/whatever thread so here we go. Who is your favourite bad guy?

Mine would have to be Jafar from Aladdin then of course Hannibal is up there. and my third choice will be Scar simply because of his singing talent.

Ermmm...I was going to say Matthew Iesus and then I realised we weren't on the same wavelength.

Shouldn't this be in General?

Anyway, Frank (Dennis Hopper) in Blue Velvet is a pretty good bad-guy....if you know what I mean.

Oh, please. Amateurs, all of them.

The greatest bad guy ever was:

Dr. Evil.

Dr. Evil: The details of my life are quite inconsequential.
Therapist (Carrie Fisher): Oh no, please, please, let's hear about your childhood.
Dr Evil: Very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Some times he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy, the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of 12 I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen, a Zoroastrian woman named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum, it's breathtaking, I suggest you try it.
Therapist: You know, we have to stop.

How can you not love real-life villain Tonya Harding?

This woman has all the makings of a Shakespearean tragedy. A poor, small-town girl has a dream...a big dream. She works night and day, pours her very soul into it, yet something's always in the way of her success...her poverty, a broken skate lace, and finally, that big-toothed bitch Nancy Kerrigan. So she and Lady MacBeth...I mean, uh, Jeff Gilloolly...do what's necessary to get rid of the competition. Ah, the depths of her character! Such a combination of ambition and amorality! Such a contrast between her irrepressible moxie and her incessant whining! And that hair! That wonderful, fabulous, redneck hair!

I <3 Tonya!!!!11!!

Tough thread...mostly just 'cause I've always loved the villain. Let's see, who do I put in my top 10?

Alucard, of the anime/mange Hellsing
Agent Smith, to my surprise, does make it
Tak, from Invader Zim
Catwoman, of Batman Returns
Dr. Clayton Forrester, of Mystery Science Theater 3000
Reverend Kane, of the Poltergeist series

Maybe I'll add more later to make 10. Darth Vader probably would have made my list, were I not so sick to death of that series from all the hype.

The Horned King - The Black Cauldron

Stalin.
or going back a bit - Vlad the Impaler.
And who can forget good ol' Caligula.

Non-real life:
definitely Lucy from Peanuts, for always thumping Linus and pulling the football away from poor ol' Charlie Brown.

As an aside, what's the female version of "Misogynistic"? I know there is one, but for the life of me I can't remember it. I mention it only cause I wanted to say Lucy is misogynistic, but she isn't cause she obviously despises men, not women.
On another note, if you put "Misogynistic" into Dictionary.com, the first line it comes up with is:

Artemis Fowl from the series of the same name - can't beat an evil genius

SideShow Bob - a misunderstood but fairly cultured bad guy

Puleeze! Darth Maul is nothing more than Marilyn Manson on Maybelline and he got hacked in half in his first film fight by a smug padawan.

Vader, on the other hand, rose from the ranks of precocious slave to whiney angst-filled teen then on to become a giant black penis!

2. Dr. Robotnik
3. Bowser.
4. Smith.
5. Skynet. There's no reason for this, I just like the terminator movie.
6. I could mention the predator, but he's not evil.
7. Classic marvel badguys, especially the good doctor Doom. Galactus is also not a bad guy.
8.Vader, obviously, as well as Sidious, who is obviously more evil.
9. umm.... Doc ock, he was pretty good, but he classifies as a marvel bad guy, I s'pose.
10. Laton, from the Nights Dawn trilogy.... but he doesn't quite count. If anyone thinks of spoiling what happens in the last book, you'll damn find out why I'm the best guy ever. such good lines, though. And such great implementation. Respected forever.
11. Everyone loves Al Capone.
12. I ran out of ideas, so I'm nominating myself again. I'm so evil.

Feh. Weasel boy may be stronger but Orochimaru is a better villian. What would you fear more; a giant snake and a guy with a disgustingly long tounge, or some guy with swirly eyes?

Lavr Fedotovitj from The Tale of the Troika. Doesn't get badder. No morals (literally - the remoralisator had no effect whatsoever on him!), hardly a brain but almost infinite power from the Big Red Stamp. Can't beat bureaucracy for evil, and Larv Fedotovitj was PURE bureaucracy, as well as corrupt. Though I must admit, Cristobal Josevitj Junta was a bit tougher and cooler, but as a badass villain you can't beat Lavr Fedotovitj.
