This is gonna be rich. But I don't see the Satanist winning. Many in the world regard Satanic teachings to be the opposite of Christian ones, some of which are regarded as plain evil. It's probably the only religion that encourages selfishness and narcisism, for that matter.

I'm really starting to think that title should have been "Catholic vs. Satanist! In a Brawl to End Them All! Only One True Faith Will Prevail!"
Then you could start selling tickets like it was a title fight...man...you'd make millions...

Someone explain to me again what 'tradition' lasting longer than about 100 years the 'Traditional Satanist' is harking back to, please?

Hmmm, you know, if they put them in thongs and made them wrestle in Jell-O, then at least it would have kitsch value.

Umm, if 'Satanist' don't believe in 'Satan', then why do they call themselves 'Satanists'? If, in fact, they are athiests, then why don't they just call themselves athiests? Or Anarchists? That'd be kind of like me calling myself a 'Buddhist' when I'm not. Not meaning to be contrary or anything, but I like names that say what they mean. (just playing Devil's Advocate here, just a tiny pun intended LOL)

Wait, what's the difference? AHAHA! Note: That was a rhetorical question, yet I can already see the hundreds of flame posts!
How many "Satanists" truly believe in Satan, demons, or any of that other mythology stuff?
In all harsh and completely uneducated, unresearched, although quite interested [in the mythology/theology of it] honesty, it seems that Satanism is more of a form of rebellion, and/or misplaced secularism than an actual religion.

I don't know about the horned order, but the Church of Satan, founded by Anton Szandor LaVey call themselves Satanists to signify the deference of Christianity. Many other "Satanic" groups are basically just inverse Christians. They worship the Satan of Christianity, and therefore are Christian themselves, just on a different figurehead. Once again, as far as the temple666 website goes, I've never been there, so I couldn't tell you if they're the same idea as The Church of Satan, but that should answer your question anyway.
