Inside the Jury Room

Last night on ABC, they aired a TV show called, "Inside the Jury Room." The night before, they had done an hour-long look at the trial.

Did anyone else see this? I found it facinating. I thought the guy was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and the jury agreed. Still, it all depended on this one woman who sort of freaked out about having this man's life in her hands.

When it got to sentencing, they all had it figured out except for the woman who was shaky to begin with. It went to the judge for sentencing, and the guy got a few consecutive life sentences without parole.

Granted, the jury is what redeems our justice system, but I thought the program was brilliant in how it showed the raw humanity at work as opposed to analysis of facts or legal briefings or anything else. Any thoughts?
