Is it just me, or do politics these days resemble you average stereotypical church in a movie?
The minister/pastor/whatever you call it, says something, then the entire congregation shouts things like 'Amen!' and cheers etc. If a passing Jew happens to wander in he is berrated with millions of arguements as to why he is wrong, all of which are totaly futile because he was raised in a Jewish family, in a Jewish neighborhood and works for a Jewish boss.
At this point an Atheist appears and begin shouting at the whole bunch about how dumb they are for not seeing the obvious.
And an agnostic sits downtown in a Cafe enjoying his coffee and considering why everybody is argueing when they could all just have some coffee, or if they happen to be Mormon, a fruit drink.
This is not a perfect analogy, in fact, most of it from the first two sentences downward is comic relief, except for the Jew part.
Naturally, no offence to any Jews, Atheists or Agnostics.
Since Im Babptist, I feel I am permitted to make fun of my own religion. ;)
