I personally will let it go after the election. If Kerry wins, I'll be happy, if Bush wins, I won't be happy, but I will realize I can't do any thing about it and I will at least be pleased to know he can never hold that office again.
How do you feel?

I wish that when the stupid thing is over people will stop acting like retards in this country. Sadly, that will just never happen. Sigh. Thanks for cheering me up, Stephistan. :( ;)

I agree that anyone that has to classify their choices … or vote party lines is an idiot (or at least close minded)

I don't care about the election. Kerry and Bush are both pampered silver spoons who will enact similar policies on the 90% of issues that no one has talked about on the campaign trail.

My thoughts exactly, although I'm not sure how much I want four more years of Bush.

I just voted for everything because my choice wasn't on there. It matters not whether Bush or Kerry wins, the Masons along with the Skull and Bones with no matter what! Unless a third party sweeps in!

Technically, that isn't true - if somewhere along the lines of succession someone dies he can hold office for two more years :p

One year and 364 days technically...however, I don't believe (as he's already been President for two full terms) that he is elgible for any of those spots in the chain of succession.

There's a great point in Joe Klein's article on page 27:
"Take the Moore/Limbaugh divide. A new poll shows that the two infotainers are little more than postmodern tribal leaders: an estimated 8% of Americans saw Fahrenheit 9/11, and an estimated 7% listened to Limbaugh. Their tribes are hilariously antithetical on a range of issues... (skip for brevity)
And yet, these extremist clumps throw disproportionate weight in the public square. (skip for brevity)
But even if you generously double their numbers - that leaves 70% of the public unaccounted for. What about the rest of us?
Maybe we're just busy living our lives."
