Who here has Doom 3?
I have it, scary as fuckin hell, and not as boring as many people say it is. I aint playing this after midnight...
Apparently it plays like a slide-show if you don't have a top-notch system, I think I'll pass with that one.
I just finished it last week. I didn't think it really was any scary. Most of the time it was pure action. There were some horror movie tricks however, but none of them were really original. Nice shooter anyway. I recommed it to people who like FPS games. Those who don't might consider skipping it, as it's pure linear FPS.
I have:
512 DDR RAM
1800+ CPU
ASUS Radeon 9600 XT 128 MB
280 GB storage
Plays completely allright for me on 640 x 480 with medium settings, and it looks GORGEUS even then!

Plays like a dream.
It's quite good, but the games I'm really looking forward to this year are Rome:Total War and Half Life 2!

the Sound in DOOMIII is CPU based.

Couldn't resist. I loved the original doom when it came out. For that matter I loved the original Castle Wolfenstein when it came out ( yeah, Im not even talkin the 3d one).

Plays real nice, very rarely a chop that is noticeable.
