Hello all I'm an American, and I'm pissed at all this bitching going on. Why is it that for some reason people today(of all nations) would rather bitch than get anything done? We have people yelling BUSH IS A NAZI, but not one person has yet to come up with a reasonable way to solve our problems. Why don't people stop pointing fingers, and rallying others to a cause thats never going to move. Why don't these groups that are trying to help us get off their lazy ass, put down the picket signs, and actually do something. I'm tired of hearing Bush is evil, but no one giving solutions on how to repair the damage done. We say vote Kerry, but what does Kerry plan on doing that will actually help? We're in major debt, we have high unemployment, the rest of the world hates us, and we use up oil faster than any other country. How is this going to be repaired? Why not make an amendment so we can re-elect Clinton or something? We can do that you know, remember prohibition? That was an amendment, and so was the one revoking it.

Heh. I'm new, but I sure as heck wouldn't post that and call it a rant. A whine, perhaps...

Anyway, fixing the problems are easy. Unemployement? Kill all the unemployed people. Poverty? Kill all the poor people. Using too much oil? Kill all ... well, you get the point.

:headbang: You know this is a game right? Its fun to imagine, but when it comes to real life, seeing into the future is for fantasy novels. No one knew about 9/11 before it happened. Funny how we supported all out war with Japan, and a coldwar with communism, but not war on terrorism. I don't have any experince running a country for real, I'm just a citizen making some suggestions. For that matter no one here does either. I offer no comment on what I would have done, because thats just sad thinking that the way I think is better than everyone elses, and assuming that I will always be right.

the whole world is so messed up that there is nothing you can do in the modern state of things. Thats why I'm laughing. Your small and partisan ideas of perfection and eutopia are so delusional and ignorant of any big picture that you fail to see what is really going on around you in something that is MUCH larger than Kerry or Bush.

Your devotion to an outdated and inherantly flawed system, whats worse is that the problems you are addressing are not even those at the root, just the superficial issues that the mass media gives you to occupy your time with. "Did bush really serve in the army?"

How would I solve the problem? Unless you can convince at least 1 billion people to compleatly redirect the flow of society into something radically differant that it is now, it will still face the same beuracratic nightmare of a fate. Eventually it will get to the point where mass changes must be made, but I still think that even then people will resist what is necessary for the new age of humanity.

Solving all your problems isn't something that can happen overnight. But you can begin by reducing the enourmous power of corporations (especially in government), changing your voting system to give third parties a real chance (thus actually becoming a diverse democracy rather than a two-party system), implementing more social programs, reducing poverty to European levels at least, creating a National Health Service, vastly improving public education, nationalizing utilities and major industries, etc.

The only thing that will unite all the world for a common cause would be an alien invasion. Otherwise we can only shoot in the dark for good ideas by avoiding mistakes of the past and coming up with the ideas that are beneficial to themajority.

If we all thought like this then how would we get anything done? We'd all be trapped in British colonies not doing anything because it's wrong to think our ideas are better than anyone elses.
