I speak and write English very fluently.
Cantonese I speak I speak better than just a conversational level, but I wouldn't say fluent, since I can't write in it.
Mandarin I can understand for the most part if someone speaks slowly. I can't write it of course.
Italian I've just started learning, so I don't actually know it, but I'm studying it :D
What about the rest of you?

English is my mother tongue.
In the last two years I have learned Portuguese.
I can read and understand Spanish, Italian and a little Romanian (basically all very similar Latin based languages).
Unfortunately I am dyslexic so spelling totally escapes me, thank goodness for spell check.
If you want to learn one Latin based language, learn Portuguese. It is much harder than the rest but once you have Portuguese you can learn the rest very easily.

I used to speak French and Spanish ok and read Latin, but it has been so long since I've had a need to use them, probably I couldn't get by so well in either any more. :(
I speak:
Dutch (native language)
English (when I worked in the European support center of a US company, some people of UK offices actually thought I was Brittish :) )
I can read (and utter some simple sentences and understand sentences if not spoken too fast):
German
French (a little bit)
I did Latin in high school, but can only remember vague poems like (from my mind and translated quite freely):
Odi et amo. Quare id faciam fortasse requiris.
Nescio, sed fieri sentio et excrucior
(I hate and love you. Why am I doing this, you might wonder.
I do not know, but I feel it happening and it is hurting me.)
(Catullus, De Lesbia)
And frases like:
"Quidquid id est, timeo danaos et dona ferentes"
(Whatever may be, I fear the Greek, even if they bare gifts)
(Vergilius, Aeneid)
I speak English, Bahasa (Indonesian), and Latin.

My native tongues are West-Flemish dialect and Dutch.
They are similar, but different. They have some common roots in the languages spoken by the Franks and the Saxons.
I learnt my first English from TV when I was six. What subtitled cartoons aren't good for. (Thundercats, some Hanna-Barbera stuff, etc. ) English classes didn't come until 8th grade.
French since I was 10 or so. (mandatory from 5th grade on)
German, still learning. Now at college level, for commercial purposes.

I was born and raised in Australia, but I spent many years working in Hong Kong and China over the years. So I'm fluent in Cantonese and Putongwa ('Common Speak' AKA Mandarin). I don't use pinyin 'words' though, there are several important subtilties that it fail to address, and misunderstandings can occur very frequently.
I can read in it like any Chinese native, even their Classical Literature ('Romances of the Three Kingdoms' and 'The Water Margin' are my favorites). But whenever I try to write in it, people say 'it just doesn't look right'.
Hope to learn Russian one day. Then I'd be quadlingual.
