Okie dokie ...

Stanley Kubric won Part I (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=347096).

Now, we're on to Part II.

This way, I can include directors I had to exclude from Part I.

Now, here's my criteria:

1] I have to have seen at least 6 of their films. If they don't have 6 films, or I haven't seen 6 of their films, I am not going to include them on this list.

2] They must have directed a consistent body of work.

3] They must have a compelling vision and groundbreaking style that has helped to define cinema.

Granted, this is all subjective, but it's my poll.

Don't worry, there will be a Part III.

PS: Yes, I am aware I accidentally put David Lean on both polls.

1. Oliver Stone (Platoon, Alexander)

2. James Cameron (Terminator, ALIENS)

3. George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead)

4. John Carpenter (The Thing, Halloween)

5. John McTiernan (Die Hard, Predator)

6. Mel Brooks (Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstien)

7. Sergio Leone (Once Upon a Time in the West, The Good the Bad and the Ugly)

Those are the ones I can think of.

Yes, but will it be in 3D?
