Saddam Hussein - A Genius

So, in the political death match between Saddam Hussein and George W. Bush, who is winning?
Let's look at an in depth analysis of Operation: Iraqi Freedom.
- More than a year has passed since President Bush declared "Mission Accomplished" despite
the fact that to this day, the war is still going on.
- Terrorism is at an all time high.
- Osama bin Laden is still at large thanks to Bush being distracted with Iraq.
- Thanks to terrorism, more and more of the "Coalition of the Willing" (despite public opinion
of the nation) is pulling troops out of Iraq.
- America has lost even more respect in the international community.
- It turns out France was right.
- Gas prices have not dropped.
- The United Nations is now just a joke.
- America still has not done anything about the 9/11 Commission.
- Al Qaeda has not been destroyed.
Alright, it isn't looking to good for Bush now is it? Well, here is where it turns around a bit.
- All 55 of the Most Wanted Iraqis (the guys on the playing cards) have been captured or killed.
That's a plus for George Bush right?
- None of them were Al Qaeda members.
Too bad.
- Saddam was one of the top 55.
Oh, well that's great. Hooah for George W.
- Oh wait, he's had a stroke and is refusing treatment for colon cancer while he rots away in his
air-conditioned jail cell. He'll likely die before he is sentenced.

He essentially said that it is absurd to think more people hate us because we are on the offense. In reality, he explained, we are on the offense because more people hate us. And in other news, George W. Bush isn't President because he is smart; he is smart because he is President of the United States. (htt://life.short.be/)
Interesting "article," any comments? By the way, I got that from http://life.short.be/

I don't see how this makes Saddam look like a genius in comparison. Things could be going a lot better with George Bush, but at least he's still in the game.

Saddam is really old. Saddam is dieing of cancer. Saddam had a stroke in his jail cell. Saddam is refusing treatment. He's not going to get punished. He'll die...and I think he knew he was dieing. This war in Iraq (that, by the way is STILL going on) was Saddam last ditch effort to make a huge hit on America, and as far as our International Relations go, he pretty much sent us back to the dark ages...

He's ding in a jail cell, instead of being free ang getting treatment. Sounds like a genious to me.

How did he manage to start this war?

I think this looking up to Saddam as some sort of hero is quite sick.

Saddam is no hero, monster maybe, but Bush was such an idiot, he played right into the Jihadists' hands.. that wasn't too smart.

To equate evil with stupidity is to court diaster. To turn one's back on the lessons history teaches us is to be condemned to an eternal purgatory of repeating results. Class is in session right now, pay attention and learn well, for today's lessons are tomorrow's history.

In other news, I have entirely too much time on my hands.

If anyone can hold onto absolute power over millions of people as long as Saddam did then they are truly a genius. Saddam is indeed a genius.
