Barack Obama v.s. Alan Keyes??

CNN is reporting that Democrat Barack Obama has a competitor: Maryland-native Alan Keyes. Now I think this race [since it has been publicized widely] is becoming rediculous. With this stupid sex-scandal between Jack Ryan and a Hollywood-star, I'm not surprised that he is running....what do you think??

Don't worry about it, Obama will win, hands down.

This could be the wierdest senatorial race ever.

Personally I find it typical of the Republican behavior. Keyes calls Senator Clinton a carpetbagger and complains loudly about that when she moved to New York to run and then it seems he is going to move to Illinois to run against the rising star in the Democratic Party. You can always count on the Republican Party to say one thing and do another.

Barack Obama has this race in the bag. I doubt any one can touch him now. Besides every time Keyes has run even in his own state he's lost.

Wow, I feel dumb...at first I thought you were talking about the Tom Clancy character...then I did an Altavista search.

Made me think Keyes just challenged Obama to a fistfight or a dance off or something.

Barack Obama v.s. Alan Keyes??

It should be a good fight. Obama is a more powerful puncher and can move better in the ring. Keyes, though, is a crafty verteran who knows how to jab effectively and counter punch to effect. Obama has advantages in both reach and stamina. Keyes needs to get to him early or likely will run out of steam in the late rounds. I would rate Obama as a 5 to 2 favorite.

Both are stupid bastards, Keyes for quite obvious reasons and Obama because of the reason he voted against Roberts. If you read his little speech about it he basically whines on about Roberts being a good candidate but because he's the Democratic Party's bitch he has to vote against him.
