I want feedback in case I left anything out...I'm gonna add a poll once I'm confident enough

and I'm sure there are other good answers out there, so please respond if you don't fit into any of these categories

edit: After reading a single deist webpage, I've decide that it should be separate, because they may be monotheists, but they use logic to get there, and not blind faith...This is also why I added polydeist. (of course, this is just what the one person says, so correct me if they were wrong)

edit: Now I have to go shower so I have to make my poll and I have 7 options. THESE ARE SET IN STONE.

Give the guy a break. By "religion" he obviously means "belief system". Yeah Atheist isn't a religion, but neither are Monotheist, Polytheist, or Agnostic. They're all systems of belief, so why not just use the word "religion" for the sake of simplicity?

Atheist means what it says. A-theist. Meaning Contra-theist. Meaning against Theism. Put whatever spin on that you like.

So... Probably Agnostic, bordering on Monotheism, presuming that you don't need necessarily to worship the one god to be a monotheist.

Hey... Does it count as Monotheism if you believe in the possibility of several Gods/Deities/Higher Creators, but of only one with authority over this particular creation?

Well, i was raised in a Catholic(monotheist) family, but im not that big a fan of believing i have no hand in what i do, and that there is some guy up in space or something that created the earth in seven days and all that non-true stuff. I have to say im Atheist or Agnostic, im not sure which. I havent been to church in 4 years :D.

Deism if you count the fact that I maintain non-interventionist God exists anyhow.

and i thought that being a catholic atheist was bad!

to me, believing in a non interventionist god is right next door to atheism anyway. just sort of covering all possibilities within a nonsensical universe.
