The problem is not kerreys service , the problem is
he campaings on his vietnam record , has a campaing add showing him
walking through the vietnam jungles , but what he wont tell the american
people is after the war he was a menber of vietnam veterans against the war. National leader Al Hubbard appointed him to the executive committee ,
kerrey left the org in 1972 , but before he left he testefied before congress
and practly callled american soldiers war criminals , rapists , etc etc ,
this he wont talk about. He does briefly mention he was a member of
vietnam veterans against the war in his website . one line , and no more .
The real add agianst kerrey should have been one informing the american
people he was a menber of veterans against the war , and let that speak
for itself. The real result of that war was over 2 million vietnamese
boat people escaping the communist government , unfortunetly it happend
during the republican Gerald Ford administration that only gave millatary
eguipment aid , another words the north vietnamese communist could not
be trusted to keep the peace , they eventually took over all of vietnam.
