Nice to see you again, Kisarazu (I thought you weren't coming back tho). Personally, while GTA: San Andreas looks good, I am excited for Metroid Prime 2, Zelda GCN, and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.

I was under the impression it was Grand Theft Auto IV, not V, since Vice City wasn't considered a full sequel, so it wasn't GTA IV. Before the San Andreas title was added, Gamespot was listing it as GTA IV.

Yes, exactly like it, it really wasn't all that different from GTA III, just updated graphics, more weapons and a new enviroment with more vehicles, it didn't change anything that would make it a full sequel, it really was more like an expansion pack.

well, San Andreas is not a city but a state! There are 3 cities, based on Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas... cool huh- plus highways and NO LOADING TIMES!
Plus you get to customize your characters, including hair and tattoos and shit. out of control...

But it really wasn't a sequel either, note the lack of a numeral denoting which in the series it is. Plus, expansion packs are a bit hard to work on a PS2.

Vice City's more of a side story.
On another note, if we're going by engines, really, this is the third Grand Theft Auto we've seen.
But it's the fifth installment, even though it's not in any sort of story progression.
Call it 3, 4, 5, whatever. Name'll still be "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas".
