I do not like George W. Bush.

I will not vote for Bush in a box.
I will not vote for Bush watching Fox.

I will not vote for Bush in my house.
I wouldn't vote for Bush if I had a same-sex spouse.

I will not vote for Bush in a sack.
I will not vote for Bush in Iraq.

I will not vote for Bush because he's scary.
I will not vote for Bush because I choose Kerry.

The doves have flown off.
The hawks now make a home of
a dry, empty Bush.

I tried a haiku.

Funny...since there are so many more lefties on the forums. Perhaps you shouldn't have put that (it's not about what side you're on) line in the title. Perhaps your poem simply leaves much to be desired.

I gave it a 5. Allthough his stupidity is hilariouse (A free nation doesn't develop a weapon of mass destruction. )
Unfortunatly him beeing in the big chair means his stupidity is policy.

I do not like Kerry

I will not vote for Kerry if you made me
I will not vote for Kerry if you paid me

I will not vote for Kerry if he were a hero
I will not vote for Kerry cause he's a zero

I will not vote for Kerry cause he's awful
I will not vote for Kerry cause of the last waffle

I will not vote for Kerry if you forced me
I will not vote for Kerry cause he horsed, see?

I will not vote for Kerry in Milan
I will not vote for Kerry in Japan

I will never vote for Kerry
For Prez, he's scary

You don't vote for heroes? You don't like horses? You don't like the last waffle you had and that affects your presidency vote? You have some strange tastes sir.

This is an example of a poem you give a 0 to. Not because it is anti-Kerry, but because he gets around to rhyming the lines kind of terribly. I'll make an anti-Kerry poem.

Look, if we had a Demecratic President, we would still be waiting for any attack on bin Laden. At least Bush did something quickly. And, if you don't like how he did in Iraq, your basically rooting for Hussien, who killed more people a year than have died in Iraq. Oh yeah, MariahC, nice poem. You should go to Hallmark with that.

Nice rhymes, good satire, but I can't get over the syllable problems. As rapper of my organization I can't help but overlook the smallest mishap. Of course I know(er...think) this isn't Robert Frost I'm talking to, so I won't tear it apart or anything. Just in your other poems that you make, see if you can use synonyms or something to make the stressed syllable beat constant. Of course again, you can't do that all the time. I guess all-in-all, it's nice work, but it's not poetry book material. BUT, the question was is it funny or not. I'm not sure funny is the word. I didn't really laugh at it, but smiled at the satire. I'll give it a five, or something.

Well, at least you gave an insightful opinion. And yea, I know all about the meter and all that crap, I just don't like poetry or English that much so I did this in about 2 minutes. I wasn't really too worried about it. But thanks for not voting based on politics. You might want to check out my other poem.
