P.S. Please do not respond until after I post the poll, so you can see what the options are.

In this election, lesser of the two evils.

Voted other. Here's why.
I vote for the Democratic candidates in major elections because on a national scale, they more closely represent my personal ideals as to the place of government. I'm not always on board, but I agree with them more often than I agree with the Republican party (probably because I'm not wealthy and don't have many prospects of ever becoming so), so on big issues, I usually go with the Democrats.
In local elections, however, I tend to work more with the Green Party, although I'm not a strict party person. I've voted third party a number of times in local elections and will continue to do so as long as I feel the candidate is the best for the job--I'd also vote for a Republican if I thought he or she was the best person for the job.
And then there are times I vote strategically. I may really like a third party candidate, but when looking at the general election, feel that it's more important to vote against a major party candidate (usually Republican) rather than take the chance that my third party support will aid the greater of the two evils to gain power.

Which one are you voting for?

I will be voting other!
I consider myself a moderate republican but I listen to both sides of the issues. I look at the person and what has he done.
This election, I'm voting for Bush. I was leaning Lieberman but since he is not the nominee, I looked at Kerry. After viewing his voting record in the US Senate, I have to say what I saw doesn't impress me at all.
If he had a much better record, I might be convinced to vote for him but he doesn't.
Thank you for your time

Thank you for your timeNothing personal, but if you're seriously comparing records on legislation, how is it you're voting for Bush?

Because I trust Bush more on the Military and Foreign Affairs than I do Kerry. Bush has had executive experience from his time as governor as well as Four Years of being President.
Kerry, from what I have seen, is NOT running on his Senate Record. All he is doing is running on his Vietnam War Record and the Anti-Bush sentiment. He has spent hardly no time on his senate record and why? Because he hasn't done anything in the US Senate.
If he had done more in the Senate, you better believe I would be taking a closer look at him but since he hasn't, there is no reason for me to vote for him.

Why thank you Incertonia and I am glad that you disagree with me honorably.
Nepotism (hiring family members and friends to do jobs when you get into office) is pretty much ubiquitous in both the major parties. But why do I still vote Democrat?
Because Democrats are mom-and-pop nepotists, whereas Republicans do so on the scale of billions of dollars and entire states. *ahem* Florida.
