CA Peace and Freedom Party Nominates Peltier, Not Nader
And independent candidate Ralph Nader was dealt another setback over the weekend when the California Peace and Freedom Party declined to nominate him for president. The nomination would have put Nader on the California ballot. Instead the party has nominated jailed Native American leader Leonard Peltier as its presidential candidate this year.

did you people know that in 1920 a socialist named debs ran for president from jail. ( the buttons had his prison number on them) and got more than one full percent of the popular vote?

considering that many consider america to have 'two parties' i find it fascinating that the last three presidential elections were decided by small 'third' parties. this one might also.
