the most corrupt administration in american history would rather smear people like Sandy Berger and critics of the despotic tyrant in the White House rather then actually upholding the law when someone from their own party flagrantly abuses it.

Justice Dept. Won’t Prosecute GOP Sen. For Classified Leaks
The Washington Post is reporting that federal investigators have concluded that Republican Sen. Richard C. Shelby of Alabama divulged classified intercepted messages to Fox News and CNN while he served on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. But the Justice Department has decided not to undertake a criminal prosecution against the Republican Senator.

Shelby revealed that the National Security Agency intercepted messages in Arabic on the eve of Sept. 11 that said "The match is about to begin" and "Tomorrow is zero hour." He also revealed that the messages were not translated until after the Sept. 11 attacks

il look up ashcrofts poll numbers but i never said that. only about what, 17 or 18 percent of america calls its self liberal. im just saying that its getting a littel old on these forums having people complain about ashcroft over and over. its the liberals who do it the loudest.

its just that fox polls actualy tend to favor the democrats. bush's reelection numbers are lower in fox's polls than in other ones by cnn, abc, and gallup. check out the entire polling report site . i like it alot. very interesting.

I'm surprised this senator, who TRA wouldn't name, wasn't prosecuted. The NSA is as secretive as secret can get, and they are probably our nation's last line of defense. They don't want their secrets compromised.
Then again, perhaps they let this guy go because of his seniority in intelligence affairs. It's the same reason why I'd have advocated Sandy Berger to be cleared, and he was, wasn't he?

Thanks.

Problem.

It's a fox poll but even then it shows a steady decline since his taken the positon.

The Harris poll says people tend to be 45% fair to poor.
