Irony is, more often than not, bitter; that is if you're on the receiving end. If you're the person watching, irony can indeed be a sweet treat.
In a similar vein to the abortion clinics bombing, I generally find people who suggest killing to prevent killing kind of odd. I suppose in the long run it might actually work, but considering you've just caused what you were trying to avoid... yeah.
