President Mubarak of Egypt (http://www.newyorker.com/fact/content/?040712fa_fact1) is old and in poor health. He is the leader of one of the most important Islamic countries. He has no successor.
Yasser Arafat (http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,516827,00.html), president of the Palestinian Authority and long time leader of the Palestinian movement, may have stomach cancer. He is also old and in poor health. He also has no successor.
King Fahd bin Abdel Aziz (http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/gulf/sa-leader.htm) of Saudi Arabia is also quite old. A line of succession is more clearly established, but probably will be contested.
Are all three of these countries set for political chaos? What do you think the future holds?
