I'd like to know how to do a few things and if someone would teach me or tell where to look for info, I'd be very gratefull.

1. How do you get world in bold, italic and underwrite.

2. How do you put emoticons in the text (between word for example)

3. How do you post links.

4. I'Ve seen black squares for spoilers, how do you do that?

If there's other nifty options, can you tell me what they are?

ummm...I think there are some options, where you can choose what layout your reply box has...then it makes most of this pretty self explanitory

I heard the spoiler is but I don't know if that's true

to get the text box I was talking about, go to profile (far right, directly below the NS logo) then go to edit options...under misc. options at the bottom, choose the standard editor with more features instead of the basic editor

what you want to do my friend is go to your profile and change your settings so that you can see the advanced formatting options.

Then you can just highlight a word or whatever and click a button to get desired results
