Well, I vote AC/DC "Back In Black", considering the story behind it. Long story short, the replacement of their leadsigner Bon Scott, who died from a mix of Hypothermia and Alcholic poisoning in 1980. Besides, the songs on that album are great.
But, if you want a write in:
Ozzy Osbouorne - "No More Tears"
Guns N' Roses - "Use Your Illusion"
Spinal Tap - "Smell the Glove": ok, that one was a joke, if you know who Spinal Tap is.

I think the best album ever is "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd, with "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by The Beatles as 2'nd, and "Nevermind" by Nirvana as 3'rd.
Aztec National League
03-08-2004, 22:18
I just remembered another one:
Judas Priest - "Screaming for Avengance"
"Dark Side of the Moon" is a cool name, and I'm a die hard Beatles fan, so, I like "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" anyways.

The fact that you would refer to Dave Matthews as filth only shows that you have no concept of respect for either musical talent or other people's individual perferences. So if you do vomit, I don't think it would be of great concern to anyone.

Vote. Or reply. Or Both. You know the drill.
1. Didn't daddy ever teach you to never tell a book by its cover? The same applies to music.
2. With the exception of two of your choices (Dave and ACDC) this has to be the worst music I have ever seen. Who actually likes Mariah Carey? I would rather listen to Harry Carey. Two poll options at that. And the same thing goes for that Canadian-Pop-Country **** Shania Twain. Does she look good? Yes. Does that mean people have to like her music, HELL NO!
3. Best album of all time, Led Zeppelin - Complete Studio Recordings (the best $120 I have ever spent). Best Album title of all time, Lynyrd Skynyrd - (pronounced leh-nerd skin-nerd)

However, it is still valid to ask 'what the best album title ever' is. Trivial, yes, invalid, no. It was you that leapt to the conclusion that a judgement was being passed on the music contained therein.

Great album too.
I just got a bunch of their songs because Amazon told me too. I really like Lacuna Coil and they suggested The Gathering. I haven't heard too much of it, but it doesn't touch Lacuna Coil.

I listen to Mariah Carey, Shania Twain, and Whitney Houston! That genre usually has the best album titles! So, if this were a poll about the best album, I wouldn't put Mariah, Shania, or Whitney up there because I know they'd get BLASTED by people like you! AND YES I HAVE HEARD 'DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER' BUT WHO CARES IF MY FATHER TAUGHT IT TO ME!!!!!!! But actually, the cover makes half of the fun of a CD, I think.

[QUOTE=East Canuck]The album refered to as The White Album by the Beatles
First that I'm aware with no title for the album. (Could be wrong)
Isn't it more fun to give it a title after all the work you put into it? (The most boring thing has got to be the self-titled debut album. Yawn!) The title-less album I liked was by XTC, and someone stole it, so I'm left with just a memory, but it was pretty hilarious. A black cover (these were vinyl days, so there was plenty of room) covered front and back with white explanatory typing in the vein of "This is the cover. It is designed to entice you to buy it. But you're not that easily manipulated, so put it down. Now we just put you in a double bind; if you put it down, you will be doing as we told you, and if you buy it you'll be doing what we wanted all along..." It went on and on "This is the innersleeve...", "Now, this is known as the label..." Aw, alright, alright, so I'm easily amused. Sorry.
Albums I bought just for their title included: "Aural Sculpture" by the Stranglers and "Fresh Fruit for Rotten Vegetables" by the Dead Kennedys. In conjunction with the cover art, I've always liked "Pump" by Aerosmith.

From my stockpiles of albums ( ;)), the best one still would be The Smashing Pumpkins' "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness", "Songs for the Deaf" from QOTSA or "...And the Circus Leaves Town" from Kyuss.
Although I never listened to any of their records (only know some singles), I also like the one liners by Mclusky: "My Pain and Sadness is more Sad and Painful than Yours" and "The Difference between You and Me is that I am Not on Fire". :D
