Well its not so much incest as we just feel more at home with the americans, same language , similar culture and no track record of gassing jews.

I know this doesn't excuse it, but it was hundreds of years (possibly 1000) ago, when our supersticious little ancestors thought that jews, muslims and everyone except other christians were evil, or at least suspicious
