I'm quite a big James Bond fan and have been quite disturbed by the latest news regarding the films and the recasting Bond to Eric Bana!!!!! I loved the Sean Connery and Roger Moore Bond films. I quite liked the Dalton films and I like the Brosnan films (he was better than Dalton but the old magic is not quite there in the his films - except Goldeneye maybe). I think that Brosnan is a good Bond and that the failings in some of his films (Particularly The world is not Enough) have been down to bad writing and poor project management. That said Brosnan is the best man in the market to play Bond for 1 maybe 2 films, after that he will be too old. So why are the producers getting rid of him now????!!! And why Eric Bana???!!!!! How dumb can you get? He is Autralian and although a good actor is CLEARLY not Bond Material..

Is anyone else annoyed by this and who should be Bond after Brosnan?

I hadnt heard they were recasting Bond no, but good, I dont like Brosnan as Bond, he's poor, Kenny! Obvioulsy Connery was the best Bond, but moving on to your point, Eric Bana. No, not as Bond, excellent actor, very good looking but he's not Bond. As I recall Lazenby was Australian, and although he wasnt the best Bond in the world, it wasnt cause he was Australian! Dotn know who should be the best Bond, but not Bana, thats for sure. Or Brosnan.

Yes, well, if I see " Bond " inform generic Bond baddy " You don't wan't to see me when I'm angry " or some such, producers will die.
