Okay...despite knowing that this will be immediately ignored and thrown out of the window immediately, let's only compare ideal communism to ideal capitalism or compare real communism to real capitalism. And let the battles begin!!

quite hard to answer that question as there are too few options. Capitalism is not the same in all instances and some forms are distinctly worse than others.

Eh...why? You've started that thread to say why capitalism is better than communism. I've started this thread to have a debate and I've laid the ground rules of making sure reals and ideals aren't compared.
greed is good, competition is good
(to an extent)
greed causes a desire to be your best
competition constantly forces us forward
As I posted on _Susa_'s thread:
I don't see how being selfless is morally superior, though I understand lots of people argue that it is
Doing something for someone else is NOT automatically selfless.
If you give your baby a bottle of milk- it's not selfless because it allows your baby to live. Anytime you do something that you enjoy, it has a bit of selfishness to it.
Why does a world where no one can do anything they enjoy (not necessarily communism- just selflessnessism) seem morally superior? Why is unhappiness a trait to be admired?
