For me, in no particular order:

Dead Kennedys- Life Sentence
The Partisans- 17 Years of Hell
Nirvana- Lithium
Smashing Pumpkins- Bodies

The lyrics of these four songs in particular really made an impact on me both when I first heard them, and they still do.

Do you mean most influential as far as music goes, or most influential on you as a person?

It really doesn't matter, but I think it would mean more if it was influential to you. You can do it either way.

Oh, another one.
Immortal Technique- Dance with the Devil

My favorite song of all time by anyone: Gypsy (Fleetwood Mac). That song has been along to cheer me up when I've been in HORRIBLE moods or has been there almost as a beacon of reassurance that everything will be okay. It's such a special song to me that I rarely sing it at karaoke even though I love it so much.

A song I think has had quite a bit of influence is Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide." No, it's not a Dixie Chicks original. Stevie Nicks wrote it in 1974 and the song first appeared on Fleetwood Mac's self-titled LP in 1975. It's been botched *ahem* I mean covered more times than any other Fleetwood Mac song that I can think of.

More recent songs that have influenced me include "Fall From Grace" by Stevie Nicks (who proves she can still rock as hard as anyone with that song); "Destiny Rules" by Fleetwood Mac; "S.O.B." by Lisa Marie Presley; and
"The Way" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Another AC/DC fan! Moneytalks (live version) was first I heard and started my obsession.
